FAQs
Is a Membership Required?
To put your treatment plan into action and receive products through Thrive, a membership is required. A membership gives you access to:
- Prescribed therapies
- Discounts on future lab orders for ongoing health monitoring,
- 24/7 support to answer your questions,
- The ability to schedule check-ins as needed.
- Continuous, data-driven monitoring to ensure your body, health, and performance keep advancing
Can I Cancel the Membership Anytime?
Thrive requires an initial 3-month commitment, after which you may cancel at any time.
Why Does Thrive Require a Membership?
We offer products to you at wholesale prices, meaning you pay us for a specific product and we pay a pharmacy or lab to ship that product directly to your address. We don’t make money on the products; therefore, a membership is needed. We also see better engagement from our patients when they are invested in a membership—better communication, adherence to the plan, and, most importantly, results.
Does Thrive Accept Insurance?
We do not accept insurance. The goal of an insurance company is to make money. Our goal is to help you live your most fulfilling, healthiest life. Insurance would restrict our ability to achieve our goal; therefore, we do not rely on it.
Does Thrive Accept HSA and FSA?
After enrolled in a membership, Thrive does accept HSA and FSA.
What Forms of Payment Does Thrive Accept?
Thrive accepts all major credit cards.
Does Thrive Work with Men and Women?
Yes. We work with both men and women, providing personalized care for all adults based on their individual goals and medical needs.
Is Hormone Therapy Permanent?
No. Hormone therapy is not permanent and can be adjusted or discontinued at any time based on your goals, lab results, and medical needs. There is a lot of misinformation about hormone therapy on “Dr. Google” and “Dr. YouTube,” which is why it’s important to trust experienced clinicians who rely on real-world data—not internet falsehoods—to guide your health.
I’ve Read About Potential Negative Side Effects of Hormone Therapy. How Does Thrive Prevent These?
We minimize side effects by building fully customized treatment plans based on your labs and individual physiology—never generic protocols. We start with the lowest effective dose and taper upward, ensuring side effects are kept to a minimum or not experienced at all, which is often the case. We also have experience caring for thousands of patients and a deep understanding of how hormonal changes affect the entire body, allowing us to design the safest and most effective plans to achieve your goals. Lastly, our unmatched communication speed allows for rapid adjustments if needed to ensure safety and effectiveness.
I Do Not Want to Be a Bodybuilder. Should I Still Use Testosterone?
The overwhelming majority of people who benefit from testosterone therapy are not bodybuilders. Testosterone is designed for both women and men who want to feel more energized, think clearer, lose fat easier, improve their blood work, and elevate their overall internal health. It’s for women who want to be better daughters, mothers, and wives, and for men who want to be better sons, fathers, and husbands. If you think testosterone is only for bodybuilders or that it will turn you into the jacked version of Arnold Schwarzenegger, you are incredibly mistaken.
How Often Does Thrive Require Blood Work for Members?
We require blood work before starting treatment, again at 6 weeks after starting treatment, and at least every 6 months thereafter to ensure your health and progress are optimized. You can also request additional blood work at more frequent intervals—such as every 2 or 3 months—to provide deeper insight into your health. We’re here to cater to you and deliver ideal results at all phases of your life journey!
How Much Does Blood Work Cost?
After enrolling in a membership, blood work can cost as little as $79 or range up to $399, depending on how much insight you would like. Many of our members complete smaller blood panels every 2–4 months at $79 and then 1–2 larger panels once or twice per year. We can adapt to your goals, budget, and desired level of health insight.
Where Do I Go for Blood Work?
We have partnered with Quest Diagnostics for blood work testing, so you would visit your local Quest facility. We’ll provide guidance on how to find the location nearest you. If Quest is not a good fit, we can offer alternative options—just email support@thrivehrt.com.
